Cedrus atlantica – from the wood
100% essential oil – 12ml
Known as the “wise elder” this oil has been used since ancient times as temple incense and for shipbuilding. It has a warm, woody and sweet scent. I use in blends for its deeply comforting aroma. It is also used as an insect repellent and in perfumes as a fixative.
HOW TO USE
I like to use cedarwood oil in a diffuser, in a bath with Epsom salts or as a massage oil. Use 6-8 drops of essential oil for every 20ml of carrier oil or water. I like to blend it with mandarin, bergamot, frankincense, Juniper, lemon or lavender.
It can also be a good insect repellent. add a few drops to a lavender muslin bag to fight moths in the wardrobe.
For external use only. Do not ingest. Do not use undiluted. Stop using if you experience an allergic reaction and seek medical advice. Please consult your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or under medical supervision. Not suitable for young children. Highly inflammable
